A New voco Hotel Opens in Beaune
A project two years in the making, led by Mando Hospitality, founded by Michel Halimi and actor Christophe Lambert, the voco Beaune Cité des Vins Hotel officially opened its doors on October 7, across from the Cité des Climats et Vins de Bourgogne.
With 74 rooms and suites (ranging from 25 to 51 m²), some of which are interconnected, the hotel was designed to accommodate both leisure and business travelers. The Monaka restaurant seats 70 indoors and an additional 70 on the terrace, offering a menu that gives a modern twist to traditional family recipes.
The hotel also features a wine bar showcasing regional wines, three seminar rooms with terraces, a spa with treatment rooms, a hammam, a heated outdoor pool, and a fitness center.
Launched in 2020, voco, the premium brand of the IHG Group, aims to deliver warm and personalized service in a modern setting. With four locations in France and plans for 200 worldwide by 2028, voco is rapidly expanding its presence.

Voco Beaune, the highly anticipated new hotel, welcomed an impressive crowd last night for its official launch. The event, organized in partnership with Welcome Magazine, brought together Beaune’s elite—and even some from Dijon—eager to discover the hotel’s interior.
Christophe Lambert and Michel Halimi, in collaboration with Mado Hospitality, envisioned a space that blends high-end elegance with the warm atmosphere of a boutique hotel. The architecture celebrates Burgundy stone, creating a harmonious setting that pays tribute to the region’s heritage.
Although Beaune’s mayor, Alain Suguenot, jokingly remarked that “the exterior could use some greenery to match the high-quality interior,” the overall result is impressive and likely to attract guests quickly.
